The Threat From the Deep
There are few hazards that experienced dungeoneers fear more than a rot grub. Resembling a large maggot with a maw full of tiny teeth, the diminutive rot grub thrives on flesh, both living and dead. It attacks by burrowing into the host’s flesh, and then secretes a toxin into their system. Unfortunate adventurers who die to rot grubs are doomed to decay and spawn new grubs from their bodies.
